SISTER Wives star Robyn Brown’s ex, David Preston Jessop, is currently in a dangerous state of health with his cancer battle, The U.S. Sun can exclusively report.
Robyn's first husband, David Preston Jessop- who goes by Preston- has been battling Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, a type of blood-cell cancer of the bone marrow, for over a year.

A GoFundMe page that was created in February 2023 by his sister-in-law, Stacy Jessop, has been updating those who have been following his health journey.
In the most recent update, posted on January 12, 2024, Preston's family revealed he has trouble sleeping due to "excruciating pain" and now, does not have insurance to afford his medications.
The post states: "These last couple months have been pretty difficult.
"Dealing with insurance has been a huge hassle and as of [November] of last year he was dropped.

"Still waiting after all this time to hear back if the renewal has gone through and haven't heard a word!
"Since he's been taking the chemo pill running out of his meds would be deadly!
"Without insurance to cover the cost there'sno way we could afford the meds he needs."
The post continues: "The other big thing is that the side effects have taken a toll and keep him up at night in excruciating pain but at the same time keeps his numbers where they should be."

The family goes on to say that when asked how he's doing, he tries to stay positive and "would smile" and tell people "things are good."
The post concludes: "We are beyond grateful to all those who've prayed, donated, reached out etc.
"You have no idea how much it helps! Please continue to keep him in your prayers and donate if you are able."
'DANGEROUS' STATE
To date, there have been 192 donations totaling nearly $8,000.
The goal is $50,000 to help pay for his health bills and other finances.
Prior to the most recent update, Preston's family provided an update right before the holidays.
In a November 20 post, the Montana native's loved ones said that Preston, 44, had some improvement in his blood cell numbers, but at one point, the numbers "reached a dangerous point."
The post explained: "... we had to go the medicinal route and go back to the chemo pill.
"His numbers since have improved greatly but has also come with a lot of side effects which make things rough on his body.
"We are so grateful for the improvement in numbers though which helps the hard nights."
HEALTH JOURNEY
Preston was diagnosed with CML after a doctor ran tests following a routine eye exam where something concerning was found.
At first, per the GoFundMe background, he took pills to keep it under control and "eventually put it into remission."
"The expectation was that he would need to stay in these pills for 10-15 years," the family wrote.
The first round of "chemo pills" left Preston with "serious internal problems."
He was scheduled to do another round, but was told it would "destroy his heart and arteries," so he opted for a "more natural approach" - one that's "extremely expensive."
Since insurance won't pay for "anything on natural remedies or treatments," the family set up the GoFundMe page at the time.
The team of doctors is "committed [to] save his life," the post says.
LIFE AFTER ROBYN
Preston and Robyn, 45, were married for eight years until they separated in 2007.
They filed for divorce in 2009 and, a year later, she spiritually married Kody Brown. It wasn't until 2014 when they legally got married.
Preston and Robyn share three kids: David Preston "Dayton," 23, Aurora, 21, and Breanna, 18.
They have since been adopted by Kody and welcomed to the Sister Wives family, including Meri, Janelle and Christine Brown (although the family is now estranged since his three wives left him).
Preston has since got remarried to a woman named Jennifer Laparra and they welcomed four children.
The family lives in Montana where Jen is a stay-at-home mom and the kids are homeschooled.

Meanwhile, Robyn and Kody live in a $890K home in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Robyn's three oldest children lived with them until they went off to college.
Kody's last-standing wife does not speak about her ex on the show and in the past, tension between the former couple came to light.
