During your year at ICMP, your education will be expertly guided by members of ICMP’s impressive teaching faculty. Each one of your tutors will be a highly accomplished performer, musician, educator, academic and industry practitioner, bringing their personal experience, industry knowledge and educational accomplishments direct to your classroom.

As an ICMP student, not only will your classes take place in our celebrated music industry hub in London’s Kilburn, but you’ll have ongoing access to our bookable recording studios, practice rooms, technology suites, live performance rooms, music production suites and mobile recording rigs – free of charge – outside of timetabled hours, seven days a week. All our rooms contain the very best musical instruments and backline gear – supplied by the leading brands in music – which you’ll have access to for rehearsals and performances. From microphones, amps and effects pedals, to loop stations, PAs, percussion instruments and everything in between, you can borrow whatever you need to fulfil your collaborative musical vision, free of charge.

Connecting you
to the music industry

As an ICMP student, you’ll have direct access to our distinguished Careers and Industry Hub team made up of experienced careers counsellors and music industry professionals. Their job is to support you in taking your first steps towards a career in the music business or wider creative industries. Beginning with an initial diagnostic assessment and objective-setting projects, they’ll direct you on your personal careers journey with everything from individual learning plans, music industry advice and help in choosing your course modules. They’ll also connect you to organisations active in the London music industry, such as music publishers, major record labels, management companies, tour managers, promoters and more.
